Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane season is June 1 - November 30. Are you ready?

The Virginia Department of Emergency Management encourages Virginians to prepare for the 2009 hurricane season. All residents should plan to protect themselves, their families and their pets in the event of a hurricane or tropical storm. There are three easy, low-cost steps families can take to get ready:
